We live in Washington State (which says a lot) but the main thing is that a co-founder of Left Wing Propaganda is a brain cancer and TBI survivor. A Medicinal Marijuana user, it helps her with seizures as well as her anxiety (which can trigger seizures.) Hemp used to be a primary cash crop in this country. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson grew it and smoked it! it is something that needs to be considered as both removing pot from Schedule I (so stupid) as well as making hemp growing legal again, if for no other reason than environmental. Note: There are 50 stars and 13 stripes on our leaf! ;)

Back in the day, "some people" would enter National Forests to smoke pot because local law enforcement couldn't enter and there were few Rangers per park. (National Park Rangers mainly concentrated on safety, fire watch and rescue) This so-called Golden Time in the '70s was ruined by growers in our National Forests and the Reagan Administration. This throwback shirt is a reminder of that long, forgotten age...

Not originally meant to be political, just a live in Seattle thing: we're surrounded by the Mermaid. If you've driven by the corporate headquarters, you have seen the eyes peering out, looking and judging you! Done in a grungy style at the time I designed this, I was noticing how Orwellian our politics had gotten then saw, for the first time, the big mermaid! Her eyes, looking out in all directions, viewing all that she surveys! We've done these as buttons for years and it is rather amusing how many baristas have bought them! :D
