My next piece in my Animal series this time is about Oxen, as 2021 is a year of them. Ox is associated with the Earthly Branch, and I very like the characteristics of this lovely animal, such as being hardworking, honest, and earnest. In the sense of Oxen's symbolic personality and characteristics, they are low-key, and they don't look for attention, but they gain recognition through their hard work.
Well, the vampire bat Horrid Dredwing mount takes super long time to get, farming it everyday in World of Warcraft, and still unlucky. However you can 100% have a Horrid Dredwing bat T-shirt or something else with the Venthyr Covenant vibe in it with this design.

Bats symbolize death and rebirth. The creature lives in the womb-like caves, it emerges every evening at dusk. And so - from the womb, the "Guardians of the Night" are reborn every evening. Symbolically I feel very attracted, related to this creature and their vampiric sense.
So, in an imaginal manner, this is my bats, with their wings forming the tombstones, as usual combined with patterns/ornaments.
In Greek mythology, the goat became symbolized in the God Pan. The he-goat was the God of All Things (GOAT). The name of Pan is derived from a Greek word signifying all things; and he was often considered as the great principle of vegetable and animal life.
Goat is one of the animals with horns that I love and feel connected in some aspects. Here comes my goats in the vases (amphora), merged with vintage Greek patterns/ornament, again in a complete circle.
Deers symbolize majesty, beauty and have roots in ancient history. In many cultures, the deer is a symbol of spiritual authority. The deer’s antlers are one of the characteristics that have made it the figure of a spiritual superiority. Like a crown, the antlers grow beyond its body, bringing it closer to the sky and making it sacred. During a deer’s life the antlers fall off and grow again and the animal is also a symbol of regeneration.
Its stare, its agility, its speed and its antlers, Deer inspires those values and symbols in the imagination of humans and in its metaphorical nature.
Cats have been both feared and loved throughout history by many different cultures. They evoke the spirit of independence, cleverness, and curiosity. As for symbolism, cats are symbolic of rebirth and resurrection, per their nine lives.
This design was inspired by one of my cats, combine with (antique) vintage elements. He is a Sphynx, and his name is Nubie.
Dragon is one of my favorite mythical creature. In the Orient, dragon symbolizes wisdom, strength, and hidden knowledge. In most traditions, it is the embodiment of chaos and untamed nature. It is also associated with the depths of the unknown sea, with the mountaintops, and with the clouds.

The second design in series Dragon: The Cloud Soul. Dragon is one of my favorite mythical creatures. The dragon is a highly complex symbol, combining images of the serpent and the bird, two loaded images in isolation. Together, they form one of the most powerful monsters dating back to antiquity.

"This is the dance that I once learnt,
The dance of the dying flames,
The wistful song of the midnight bird,
Will my wings carry me once again
To the place so far I leave,
To the land of the whitest nights,
It's the time to say the last goodbye,
I'll take my final flight"
(EToS).

Dust of time can cover a lot of things, but can never obscure the golden memories. This design is the love for antiques!

Winter's Eve - Design for Christmas..... and snow lovers.
The Snow dances unremittingly, arouses the souls of the ancient time, has been sleeing for decades. The joy swiftly spreads over the land. Through the window, the Queen sings her hypnotic lullaby hailing the snow, and the amusement has embraced all over the forgotten land.
Christmas design - The First snow, inspired by the first time of me seeing snow.
The first snow sang the requiem for the autumn, foretoken the birth of Winter. The snow makes its silent dance on earth, immerses itself with magic, deep in the dark hoary forest.
This piece was inspired by the card Ace of Spades and gothic antique aesthetic, which represents transformation. In Master Earth Script, people with this card have the ability to reach spiritual truths more readily than other cards. In ancient wisdom, Ace also means ambition and material achieving. Merging spiritual & mundane, being & doing, this card may also indicates the conflict between these opposite aspects, as we attempt to achieve balance in their life....
I came up with the piece by some moments living in space with my open eyes...
Symbolically, eye represents protection, guardianship; is also called “windows of the soul”. For me, I connect these meanings with the feeling of me, being watched by the universe.

The Unwary series was inspired by the folk ambient music album called "Trail of the Unwary" by Nest.
One night in the forest, the moon is clear, the owls sing their nocturne. A peaceful rhythm of breathing.
"This is a life-long struggle for survival. There's nothing glorious about it. Nor is there hate, nor honour. Such things have little meaning when the choice is between feeding and death. And you know that is no choice at all" - Nest -
(In the East, the barn owl is considered an omen. They say when the barn owl perches on a house roof, someone in there is dying in there. However, I think barn owl is cute, and I'm fascinated by the look of its faces... Something lovely, innocent and a little creepy when I look at it for too long.

A long walk.. As the night falling deeper, the air feels heavier,.. the beast awaits for its prey. There is something more.
"In death comes survival
In survival comes death"

Running, catching breath.... The creature had what it wanted. The howls signed an end to the chase - A never ending cycle of nature. The creature sat back, rested... The howls ended, the crackling sound of fire and the laughters started.
"No one is forbidden to eat, drink, or shelter here, as long as the spirit still runs in me". - Nest -

This piece was inspired by the glass dome red rose in Beauty and the Beast. I love this symbol since I was kid. I have watched the cartoon many times, and always feel touched, especially when there was only one rose petal left on the stem....
It was tragical... but I guess that's how you can feel the burst of miracles, or in other words - a burst of hope. The rose must die and there must be hopelessness.

"Apply layers to reality
Things only you can see
Add a beat to normality
To tap the core of insanity"
(Dark Tranquillity)
This piece came from an imagination of a peaceful night, sitting under the tree, be shined by the moon. Wind blows softly, carries the leaves and flower petals with it in the air. I wonder how it will be in real....

Bee is one of the few insects that is important in symbology. As soon as there were humans, we began to gather wild honey. This symbolizes for progression, advancement. The bee represents perfect community, organization, creativity, wealth,… as how this creature build its hives. Even though, bee’s body is weak, but it is strong in spirit and wisdom.
Watching the bees working is always a nice thing to see, and to me, this looks like a festival, a celebration.
