As the storm clouds of the gas crisis started to rise in the early 70s, Valiant shifted it's advertising away from strictly performance and toward build quality.

1968 brought us the Big Mac, Daydream Believer, and this little 2 Door Beauty...

Plymouth circled back around to the Valiant for another muscle car in 1970. The Duster (and it's Dodge counterpart, the Demon) stormed the streets and dragstrips as the new, affordable muscle car!
