Bamburgh Baseball T-Shirts

Another of my saints. Unfortunately the picture was too big for my scanner. An Irishman, possibly born in Connaught, *Aidan* was a monk at the monastery on the island of _Iona in Scotland_. The Roman Empire had spread Christianity into England, but due to its decline, paganism was seeing a resurgence in Northern England. _St. Oswald of Northumbria_ had been living at the Iona monastery as a king in exile since 616 A.D. There he converted to Christianity and was baptized. In 634 he gained the crown of Northumbria, and was determined to bring Christianity to the mostly pagan people there. Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland, UK Black And White Bamburgh Castle is a castle on the northeast coast of England, by the village of Bamburgh in Northumberland. As you walk along the beach you are greeting to this amazing view of this stunning Grade 2 listed castle on the Northumberland coastline. The road between Seahouses and Bamburgh is bordered to one side by the sea, sand dunes and beaches, on the other side there are fields. On occasions the fields flood and provide ponds for wading birds and for sunset shots for photographers. Here last light is caught as the sun sets and reflects in the pond.

Islestone are the rocks on Bamburgh beach that jut outwards towards the Farne Islands in the North Sea.
