Great Egrets Baseball T-Shirts

Finally made it down to Andrew Hayden park in Ottawa, Ont, Canada after hearing about the egrets spotted there. Sunday morning 7am I found 6 egrets but unfortunately 4 flew away as I got there but 2 remained and gave me a perfect reflection as they got together to fish. A trio of Great egrets glide along the shoreline as the night closes in, looking for their last bit of supper before going to roost for the night. This is a composite of four different images I took on a recent holiday to make a typical scene on the beaches of Florida at evening time. The egrets are very beautiful birds and particularly graceful in flight.

Early Morning Arrival of Egrets by Debra Martz It's that time of year; fall migration of birds passing through northern Oklahoma. Camping at the River Road campground at the Great Salt Plains State Park is a great place to watch the birds as they start moving in early in the morning.
