He does the bidding of the universe, coming for people only when their time on Earth is through. He is a blind symbol of the universal law and order of life and death. Here, he sits on a throne in front of a tattered purple veil that is hung between two pillars. The color purple signifies compassion, and the pillars signify balance and structure. ...

Since I was kid, I've always loved to have a sand clock (hourglass). I find it so fascinating, even though it is just a very simple object. I often feel slightly regret each time the sand is fully poured down..., and I would immediately turn the sand clock reversely, so time would be running again and again.⁣
