Techno 4 is the fourth in a series of individual monotype prints with technology, industry and steam punk as the main themes. Each was created using a gelli plate and hand pulled to produce one original monotype print and one ghost print. I chose to print in blue as I had in mind the colour of architectural drawings.

Originally a monoprint made on gelli plate using acrylic paint - this print was then worked on with black and white ink to create this mixed media work.

I liked the ghost prints as much as the originals so decided to post them here as well - they may look good in the home decor range when matched with the originals - light and dark colour contrast with the same design.

Hot Air Balloon with Birds 4 is one of a series of monoprints with balloons as the theme. This print was created using a gelli plate, some hand cut stencils and some lino cuts, all of which were hand pulled onto the paper in a series of layers, using acrylic paint.
