The Atlantic Beach Fishing Pier in North Carolina has a long history dating back to 1928 when it was first built by the Atlantic Beach Corporation. It was later rebuilt in 1959 after Hurricane Donna destroyed it in 1960. Over the years, it has undergone numerous renovations and upgrades to accommodate visitors from all over the world who come to fish, watch the sunset, and enjoy the beach. Today, the pier is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike and is known for its beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding landscape.

This is my watercolor and ink painting of the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier at sunrise. It is 1,545 feet long, 30 feet above water and is currently the longest fishing pier in Florida and in the Gulf of Mexico. I was inspired to paint this pier that I have fished from. I have seen some amazing sunsets, sunrises, fish and wildlife from this pier. This painting is part of my Florida Watercolor Collection.
