I’d like to tell you a story. There was once an octopus, minding his own business, living his life under the sea. One day he woke up and just knew something wasn’t right. He opened his eyes and his worst fears were confirmed. A shark was lurking, and it had seen him. While he had never been more terrified, the octopus knew in that moment that he had no choice but to fight for his life. Instead of laying back and allowing himself to be eaten, he grabbed some stray rope and jumped right onto that sharks back. He held on for dear life while it thrashed and jerked around, trying to throw him off, to overcome him. But though he had never been more afraid, he had also never been more determined to LIVE.
