Let me make a call

In a time before 5g, 4g or cell phones altogether, there were landlines that tethered us to a wall, night stand or some other flat surface to place/mount your telephone to. Most of the time, when you called someone if you didn't instantly recognized the person that answered your call or vice versa, you would have to ask to speak to that person and the voice on the other end might say something like "may I ask who is calling?" All brought to each dwelling by the statuesque, telephone pole.

The photograph was taken with an old camera phone and edited with GIMP. This has always been one of my favorite camera pics. I was catching the transition of the previous evening to sunrise. I didn't have a car then and was lucky that work was close enough to walk to.

The fox is in the telephone booth talking to his boss looking very serious. The whole artwork came to my mind after thinking of a phonebooth randomly. The artwork looks very cute overall.

This is one of the power and telephone pole across the road from my house. Being so close to home it has taken me over a year to pick up the camera, walk to my front gate and take a photo of it!
