I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 21. For women it's sadly really normal to be diagnosed later in life, 21 is quite early even. Nonetheless, I already had my share of toxic coping and masking techniques that I needed to unlearn. At 35 I can start to say I'm getting the hang of it and am finally embracing my ADHD brain in all its nutty glory. We need more research on what ADHD is and how to live successful and more importantly happy lives with it. Being different does not make us disabled, being labeled as disabled and made to believe there is something wrong with us does disable us. Spread the ADHD love ♥
