Aldabra Giant Tortoise Hoodies

The Aldabra Giant Tortoise native to the Aldabra Islands in the Indian ocean. It is one of the largest species of tortoise on the planet and is also one of the world's longest living animals, with one Aldabra Giant Tortoise reported to have reached the grand old age of 255 years old.

Tortoises are reptile species of the family Testudinidae of the order Testudines. They are particularly distinguished from other turtles by being land-dwelling, while many other turtle species are at least partly aquatic. Like other turtles, tortoises have a shell to protect from predation and other threats.

Aldabra Giant Tortoises are one of the world's largest tortoises, living to over 150 years of age and weighing up to 250kg. Their small islands habitats in the Indian Ocean allowed them to evolve their giant size.
