Barrow Beck flows down from Bleaberry Fell in the Lake District near Derwentwater and Keswick, Here it flows down to Ashness Bridge from where the picture was taken on its way to Derwentwater. The building in the picture is Bark House, originally built to store oak bark from the nearby woods.

Ashness Bridge is perhaps the most photographed packhorse bridge in the Lake District due to its location and stunning views. This extremely popular viewpoint looks out over Derwentwater with spectacular views over Bassenthwaite Lake and the River Derwent.

The stream flowing under Ashness Bridge near Derwentwater is known as Barrow Beck which flows down from Bleaberry Fell.. The building in the picture is Bark House, originally built to store oak bark from the nearby woods for processing in Keswick.
