Another version of Gigi's tavern, I did several paintings because I liked the composition. I sold many so there must be something appealing about this bar.

Luckenbach Texas General Store and Saloon by Debra Martz Luckenbach, Texas is an unincorporated community just a 10 mile drive from the popular tourist town of Fredericksburg (which originated as a German community) in the Texas Hill Country. Luckenbach is known as a great venue for country music. It consists of 9.1 acres situated between 2 creeks. Its oldest building is a combination country general store and a saloon which opened in 1849. It is stated that the first name was Grape Creek but more than likely Gap Creek which comes from German ("lucken" meaning gap and "bach" meaning stream). A new work by Andrew Reid Wildman

Taxi driver George Touhouliotis bought Marlena's Tavern in 1983, and proceeded to reshape the joint into a nightclub. He opened his new place, calling it Satyricon after the 1969 Federico Fellini film of the same name. Despite sitting on what was essentially Portland's skid row, Satyricon became a prominent music venue that hosted countless local and touring acts throughout the '80s and '90s. From punk and alt-rock, to hardcore and even some metal, Satyricon played host to them all between 1983 and 2010. It was the longest-running punk venue in the western United States, and has been referred to by journalists and historians as the "CBGB of the West Coast."

Logo tee for the late great Bobby's, a gay bar near Boston Garden on Canal Street. The dance floor was small, and during the weekend mornings it was a place to have brunch. A sorely missed chapter in Boston's LGBT scene. Cool 80s / neon vibe logo.

Charley Magruder’s, the north Atlanta club owned by Butch Weaver from the early 1980s through its demise in 1996, was the spot that attracted a motley procession of familiar faces, from Tommy Shaw of Styx to Lemmy of Motorhead to Butch Patrick (aka Eddie Munster) to members of Metallica — all of whom would swing by. It was a launching pad for many successful bands. The now defunct WKLS 96 Rock would host events there. Along with places like Turtle's Records and Tapes, CM was a safe haven for many an Atlantan to get their ROCK on!

The Lygon Arms is situated in the quintessential Cotswolds village of Broadway. Steeped in over 600 years of fascinating history, the hotel has been host to royalty as well as notable rebellious figures throughout that time.

After all the hard work of making and delivering all those Christmas presents, Santa's team get to let their hair and antlers down. It's quite a raucous scene, as reported by the North Pole Times reporter.
