CW Racing California Freestyle

CW was a highly competitive force throughout BMX's heyday and was definitely one of the more innovative manufacturers with a long line of unique frames and features that kept them out front. CW stood for Custom Works, although because the founder also owned Coast Wheels bike shop, a lot of people thought it stood for Coast Wheels, but it never did.

1980s Style CW BMX California Freestyle

Custom Works Racing, more commonly known as CW Racing, was founded in 1979 near Anaheim, California. After nearly a decade of building competition BMX bikes and winning their fair share of races, CW decided to rebrand as Revcore in 1988. Over the next seven years, Revcore releases eight different models before closing up shop in 1995.
