Greed (or avarice) is an uncontrolled longing for increase in the acquisition or use: of material gain (be it food, money, land, or animate/inanimate possessions); or social value, such as status, or power. Here, I depicted avarice as a toad holding a gold coin tightly.

Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don't want to impress people they don't like.

After donating some of my fluid paintings to a good cause I felt great relief and gratitude, so I created this lettering with one of the paintings as the background. It reminds me to let go of things weighing me down more often.

Consumerism has made us so materialistic and so image conscious that we would pay many times what an accessory or article is worth just to make sure it is from a known high end brand. A great design for someone who would want to make a comment on this problem of materialism.
