This was the very first color choice I had made for this image. I still love the blue against the black background, flowing in weird ways around the demon and the frog.

"Renascence" was a title of one of the early poems by Edna St. Vincent Millay (1892-1950), American poet and playwright. She was a part of the bohemian lifestyle of Greenwich Village and didn't fit into mainstream society. In 1923, she won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry.

My tribute to one of the greatest video games ever made, Metal Gear Solid. Solid Snake meets Liquid Snake with references to "Big Boss", Boss, and Psycho Mantis.

A spider creature thought to originate from a pocket dimension hidden deep within the dimensional weaving of space and time somewhere in a thought Cthulhu once had... A thought that came and went thousands of years before our universe existed... The only other known facts about this spider is that it feeds primarily on "madness" itself... And tends to destroy any "corners of dreams" as it travels in and out of what we know as reality... 👾

I just really liked the way the colors worked together in the image, in a way that a demon skull and a frog can really pop.

My favorite color variation of a design for a demon girl being startled by a skull... A skull that rose from the remains of a black heart... A black heart that has eerie blue smoke all around it.... Blue smoke that becomes the skull she's looking at... Also, I think she's a frog, demon girl.

A beautiful yet reeeeaaaallllyyyy strange spider. Created, born, amalgamated?... From a corner of one among countless dreams that Cthulhu may have. Or maybe a dream that Cthulhu expresses as a dream to us only because the level of existence that it rests in is something beyond what we can currently describe with our words... So it's easier, for comprehension purposes, to say "dream". 😵

Staring into the eyes of a skull that has formed from the creepy smoke coming out of a black heart lying on the ground would probably scare a lot of people, not just demon girls.

Three voodoo dolls connected to people by hair, gum, and a scrap of underwear(?)... Or some type of material with heart shaped patterns on it.

On the toughest streets all throughout the world... In back alley arenas... Hidden in jungles... Or even in an ancient temple... The most hardcore vs battles are taking place all the time... In the Sweet Fighter Tournament!

Sometimes when discovering a new, unknown thing, you are overcome with new, unknown feelings. At least, when you happen to be a demon girl finding a black heart that has some kind of strange smoke emanating from it becoming a skull...

One of my favorite drawings I've created is a weird demon head trying to eat a frog. I called it Frog Food, sounded appropriate. Well, I was thinking of an interesting design to come up with and remembered Frog Food. I thought to myself, "That poor frog... Getting chomped on by a demon... That's not fair for the frog... Not at all." So I had to make this design to go along with that one. Now the frog is in control of the situation, eating a demon head as if it were a giant, ugly fly... But now... I kinda feel bad for the demon head... It's a vicious cycle.
