Loch Tummel provided the perfect mirror for the trees on the far shore to show off their autumnal colours.

This stag was photographed on a cold snowy day. The snow on his antlers really caught my eye.

This photo was taken in Pitlochry, Scotland on a cold autumn afternoon. I wasn't very sure what was going to come out on this photo as the light was very scarce and the infamous British grey sky was making everything very desaturated. But I really liked the reflection of the forest on the calm river waters so I snapped away! I'd say it came out alright.

One of the many little pools and small waterfalls on the Bruar Walk through the Bruar Gorge up to the spectacular Falls of Bruar. Bruar is a small hamlet approximately 8 miles north west of Pitlochry and 3 miles north west of Blair Atholl in the beautiful Atholl Estates, in Highland Perthshire, Scotland. The River Garry at the Pass of Killiecrankie, near Pitlochry in Highland Perthshire, Scotland. In 1689, during the Jacobite Rebellion, the Battle of Killiecrankie was fought on the northern edge of Killiecrankie village. It was the first victory of the Jacobites – their Highland charge terrified and overwhelmed the British Government army under General Hugh MacKay in only 10 minutes. Donald MacBean, one of William of Orange's supporters, having lost the contest, is said to have cleared the pass, from one bank to the other, at The Soldier's Leap.
