Aliens is a 1986 American science fiction action film[9] written and directed by James Cameron, produced by Gale Anne Hurd and starring Sigourney Weaver. The second installment in the Alien franchise, it follows Ellen Ripley (Weaver) as she returns to the moon where her crew encountered the hostile Alien creature, this time accompanied by a unit of space marines. Additional roles are played by Carrie Henn, Michael Biehn, Paul Reiser, Lance Henriksen, Jenette Goldstein, William Hope, Al Matthews, and Bill Paxton.

The Weyland-Yutani Corporation, often shortened to Weyland-Yutani and commonly referred to as Wey-Yu, is a large British/Japanese multinational conglomerate. It was founded in 2099 by the merger of Weyland Corp and the Yutani Corporation. Weyland-Yutani is primarily a technology supplier, manufacturing synthetics, spaceships and computers for a wide range of industrial and commercial clients, making them a household name. Weyland-Yutani also has numerous non-manufacturing interests; the company has extensive assets in interplanetary shipping and transport, and is one of the corporations that operates human colonies outside the solar system through the Extrasolar Colonization Administration, which it owns or controls.

I admire its purity.

You ain’t ever been on no bug hunt like this. Ninety per-cent of your squad is wiped out by a hive of hideous xenomorphs that you don’t dare kill. Med lab in the main structure won’t hold for long – those pesky xenomorphs are pretty friggin’ smart. They’ll get in there somehow. They’ll get in there and use your body as a host for their momma’s bubs. But in this situation, with certain death a reality, it’s best to stay frosty.

I asked Ash to create an artwork containing Ash, Bishop, Call, David and Walter. Ash was born and raised in Minnesota and grew up inhabiting a plethora of different nerdy microcosms. She is currently investing my time into a degree in Comic Art at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, with the hopes to someday publish her own stories and work professionally.
