Design inspired by the movie "Prometheus"

The mission of Project Prometheus was to seek out the origins of mankind, wherever it may be in space. Weyland Industries believed this voyage would yield extraordinary dividends for its investors; financially and spiritually. The mission was incredible in scope and marked the furthest a human has ever ventured into our universe. The Project Prometheus tee is designed much like a modern mission patch including key points about the voyage along with a striking illustration of the ship itself.

The Prometheus is a large migrant ship that got lost at sea, presumably claiming the lives of 1,400 passengers and 550 crew members. However, when the ship suddenly reappears during the Kerberos' voyage to America, even more questions arise. The Prometheus is also a station in space. When Maura wakes up from the simulation, she finds herself onboard this station, which is where she first has contact with her brother .

In the Alien Covenant director's audio commentary, Sir Ridley Scott describes the Engineer Civilization as "the gardeners of space". They seed life, that's what they do. This I believe is what inspired me to create these designs, especially the multicoloured "galaxy" variation. Luis/Ozymandias has designed this shirt for fans of the Engineers.

Alien is a 1979 science-fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott and written by Dan O'Bannon. Based on a story by O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett, it follows the crew of the commercial space tug Nostromo, who encounter the eponymous Alien, a deadly and aggressive extraterrestrial set loose on the ship. The film stars Tom Skerritt, Sigourney Weaver, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian Holm, and Yaphet Kotto. It was produced by Gordon Carroll, David Giler, and Walter Hill through their company Brandywine Productions, and was distributed by 20th Century Fox. The Alien and its accompanying artifacts were designed by the Swiss artist H. R. Giger, while concept artists Ron Cobb and Chris Foss designed the more human settings.

The USCSS Nostromo, registration number 1809246(09),[2] was a modified Lockmart CM-88B Bison M-Class starfreighter captained by Arthur Dallas, registered to the Weyland-Yutani Corporation out of Panama.[1] The Nostromo operated as a tug, connecting to and pulling loads like a tractor truck rather than carrying those loads on board like a traditional freighter. The ship was destroyed in 2122 when its reactor was set to self destruct by Warrant Officer Ellen Ripley in an attempt to kill the lone Xenomorph that was loose aboard the vessel. The ship and its cargo were completely destroyed in the resulting explosion.

Encapsulating the theme of LV 223, Devan's design utilises different aspects of the Prometheus Planet. Combining the tail of the Xenomorph cradling the Juggernaut, encompassing the skeletal structure of an android and rising above its centre a star. The series will be written and illustrated by Devan Gill, a professional graphic artist and ardent Alien fan. The first issue will be released on next year’s Alien Day, which takes place on April 26. All 13 issues will be available for free in digital format.
