Contemporary Scottish thistle design

“Bruadarach” is a Scottish Gaelic word meaning “dreamer” or “visionary”. Being a long time fan of not only the show, but the wide breadth of books from Diana Gabaldon, this is an honor to submit something for this show. I picked the word because of it's meaning; The idea you can be a dreamer or visionary really drives home the premise of the books, aside from a love that spans time itself. The calligraphy and design was hand-done first in ink, then color added digitally.

Wee Scottish Hoots Toots Haggis is back with a super wee quote from Robert Burns which sums him up exactly. A wee happy ‘sonsie’ faced character that will bring a smile to any ex-pat far from home! Ideal as a surprise hogmanay, New Year’s or Burns Night gift! This design features the opening quote to Robert Burns ‘Address To A Haggis’. Wee Hoots Toots Haggis is a happy wee creature who roams the Scottish Hillsides. He grows heather and thistles out his back as a disguise as he’s verra shy at first, but once you get to know him he loves a wee tickle!
