Burma-Shave was introduced in 1925 by the Burma-Vita Co. of Minneapolis. The company's original product was a liniment with ingredients described as being "from the Malay Peninsula and Burma" (hence its name). Sales were sparse, and the company sought to expand sales by introducing a product with wider appeal. The result was the Burma-Shave brand of brushless shaving cream and its supporting advertising program using humorous rhyming poems on small sequential signs along highways. Sales increased and at its peak, Burma-Shave was the second-highest-selling brushless shaving cream in the US. Sales began declining in the '50s and in 1963 the company was sold and by the end of the decade, Burma-Shave would be no more.

This design is inspired by one of my favourite aussie bands - The Beards. One of their songs is about a Beard Accessory Store so this is how a t-shirt would look from said store if it really existed. It also serves as a warning to all who are tempted to use a razor!

Fan of the Queen, Royals or just beards, this is the perfect shirt for any occasion. I admit to seeing this idea somewhere else, but giving it my own spin, so no lawsuits please. I'm working on one for Queen Victoria if you prefer. Also it looks great on any color!

A traditional, vintage barber sharpens his working tool, the razor, on the leather strap. Precise cuts and with the super sharp metal edge it does wonderful things. Thinking of the razor as a dangerous object can be a very fertile imagination. Who's Afraid of Razors? Who shaves your beard?
