Vintage Travel Qantas Hoodies

This lovingly restored and enhanced image is brought to you by Qantas Empire Airways. They have made a play on words, calling this a Nurs-airy Rhymes. The picture is all black and white, showing a man portraying a king being fed a feast and a pilot filling his glass. At the bottom of the page is this lyric, This King Cole is a modern old soul, He wanted the wide world to see, He likes good food, And he likes good wine, So he travels by flying boat, see. Under this is written, bar and buffet services on every flying boat.

This lovingly restored work is from the mid century and was brought to us by Qantas, the Australian Overseas Airline. At the top of the image we have the word Australia and down the bottom is 'So Near By, Qantas'. The image itself is of a couple enjoying the sun on a verandah with a cold drink. In the background is one of the many beautiful beaches that can be found around Austalia with waves rolling onto the sandy shore.
