Well that was a pleasant surprise. I painted this abstract mountain range as a background for my rabbit painting. When you're frustrated with North Carolina shenanigans!

The Asheville Drum Circle is highly popular and gathers very large crowds that fill Pritchard Park to overflowing on nice summer nights. The sounds of the drums echo off buildings nearby and roll up and down Patton Avenue. When the weather is good, you will find drummers there from 6-10 pm on Fridays. Now, wouldn't you like a souvenir of the drum circle?

Completed in 1895, George Vanderbilt’s 250-room chateau is as impressive today as it was more than a century ago. Biltmore House is truly a wonder of architecture and hospitality. Guests are invited to enjoy a self-guided tour of the house, as well as the beautiful gardens and grounds surrounding it, which were designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted.

Mount Mitchell, at 6,684 feet, is the highest peak east of the Mississippi River. Located near Asheville, North Carolina, in the Pisgah National Forest, Mt. Mitchell is a popular peak for mountain climbers.
