I love the Mondasian Cyberman. The 10th Planet is one of the best stories in Doctor Who history and I love that the 10th season plays into that origin story.

A week before the news broke that John Simm would be appearing in Season 10, I tweeted that I was desperate to see a two-master story with Simm and Gomez. I predicted that the banter would be epic. I also predicted that Missy would kill Simm's Master. I didn't predict that Simm's Master would also kill Missy. Either way, as soon as the news broke, I made this to celebrate the fact that my wish came true. Also, it accurately depicts the Doctor's joy in having to deal with both Masters.

While I'm not one to pick favorites when it comes to the Doctor, I am not ashamed to admit that Missy is my favorite regeneration of the Master. Michelle Gomez is simply perfect.

This was a great scene in Season 9 of Doctor Who when we finally learned why the Doctor has the face of a person he saved long ago. (Peter Capaldi first appeared in Doctor Who in Season 4 during the Fires of Pompeii.) Later in that episode, the Doctor says something that I found particularly apt: "But you see, that's the trouble with viewing reality through technology - it's all too easy to feed in a new reality." I've watched 'The Girl Who Died' a half dozen times in the week after it aired, which isn't unusual for me after every new episode. Some of my favorite moments of Doctor Who is when the Doctor gets properly angry, because he becomes so dangerous. I think this quote is a good life lesson too - you really messed up if you angered a good man.

This might be the saddest moment in all of Doctor Who. Donna, a quintessential disappointment throughout her life, had finally done something great and it had to be erased from her mind. I made this on the question: What does the Doctor see when he/she sees a reflection? Existentially, it must be complicated when you've regenerated so many times and had so many faces. This is one of my most popular pieces online, which means that it had some controversy. Particularly the fact that I seemed to have left the 9th Doctor out. I wanted to include Eccelston. I also wanted to include all the other Doctors, but it wasn't feasible, so I left Easter eggs instead. Apparently, that wasn't enough for some people and they thought I was trying to erase the 9th Doctor from the canon, which is just stupid.
