Photograph taken in November 2013 in Edinburgh, Scotland. A traditional Red British Post Box set into a Stone Wall. The British Postal Service is run by Royal Mail and this Photograph shows a small size Box set into a semi-rural Stone boundary. Letters for uplift are collected at the times shown on the front. The Post Box was manufactured by WS Allen and Co London, or possibly WA Allen and Co London, I used a Samsung Digital Camera....

Country Post Box Number of views as of 9th July 2017 = 500. A country post box near the village of Trefin (between St Davids and Fishguard) in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. The letters GR indicate that the box was commissioned during the reign of KIng George V (1910 to 1936) or King George VI (1936 to 1952). Date: 4th June 2012.

A pattern arranged with graphic illustrations of a George VI style Post Box in Pillar-Box-Red. The iconic design is a much-loved piece of UK street-furniture, a pre-internet receptacle for the collection of letters to be delivered by the Royal Mail postal service. The British author, Charles Dickens, reminded his readers never to put a letter you intended to post in your pocket on your way out, as you may find it still there on your return.

This is taken from where I live whilst snowing in February 2009. Loved the contrast between the snow and the letter box and how the snow was laying on the branches.
