Selkies are creatures that look like seals but when they take their pelt off, they have the body and legs of a human. Most Selkies have their pelts taken by lonely humans that live by the sea and are forced to become the human's husband or wife.

This illustration is a visual interpretation of what I feel this quote means. Whatever the situation may be, you feel broken, hurt, and/or damaged. Sometimes to the point where you feel that you will never heal from your experience. But there’s always something that will heal you, and that is time. What once might never be the same again but with time, your wounds will eventually be healed with something new and beautiful.

The Bipedal Styx Walker roams the banks of the River Styx, hence it’s name. It spends it’s time walking up and down the river in search of puddles to drink from. Due to it’s anatomy, this creature is a poor swimmer so it relies on it’s long tongue to lap up these puddles like some kind of horrifying cat mutant. The bigger and fuller the brightly coloured pustules, the easier they fall off. They look like jellybeans and are treated as a sour staple in the underworld and thus the Bipedal Styx Walker is treated similar to cows on earth.
