Mickey, Donald, and Goofy driving past farms, and Goofy says that he can't believe they are taking him to "Potatoland", the potato themed amusement park. Donald mutters that he can't believe it either. Mickey is a bit unsure, and asks Goofy if they are going the right way, to which he replies that he is, having passed that sign 14½ times when he was younger. He then sees the sign for it, and they stop. It reads: "Welcome to Idaho... America's "Potatoland"." Goofy begins to dance in front of the sign, and Mickey and Donald know there is trouble. Mickey asks Goofy if it is the right sign, and Goofy replies that it is and that he has always wondered how great Potatoland must be.

Tink's Sparkling Wings

As I’m visiting Disneyland for the first time in about 20 years (I was very young at that!) I am celebrating by doing a piece on Disneyland’s locomotive fleet. Very cool designs!

Araucaria araucana (commonly called the monkey puzzle tree, monkey tail tree, piñonero, or Chilean pine) is an evergreen tree. The origin of the popular English language name "monkey puzzle" derives from its early cultivation in Britain in about 1850, when the species was still very rare in gardens and not widely known. The proud owner of a young specimen at Pencarrow garden was showing it to a group of friends, and one of them – the noted barrister and Benthamist Charles Austin – remarked, "It would puzzle a monkey to climb that". See a lovely specimen on display at Living with the Land at Epcot.
