It is high quetzal season! It's really to see quetzals in March because they are nesting. I went hiking last Saturday and got some awesome reference photos of male and female quetzals, and a juvenile male quetzal. I am just getting started with a new niche in my RedBubble site. I have never uploaded budget stickers before. I learned about them online and people seem to very much love them for helping them organize their budgets and financial systems. What do you think of budget stickers? Do you use them?

This is my hand-drawn art of a sleeping kitten. I used a soft charcoal pencil and 6B graphite pencil. I normally focus on the details of a drawing, but this time I used a technique my friend showed me where you rub graphite all over the drawing and then "pick out" the light areas with a kneaded eraser. It takes half the time as a regular drawing and I think it created a softer look. This version was digitally edited to have a sepia undertone. Hope you like it!

I took this high res photo of a quetzal in Boquete, Panama.

This red legged honeycreeper came every day with his more subtle mate, to drink sugar water from the feeder. Every time I came outside, zip! He flew away. What a challenge! These beautiful birds are prolific in Panama but so shy.

Real food: broccoli, cabbage, eggplant, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, garlic. Organic T-shirt design.

I was SO STOKED that this male resplendant quetzal let me get close enough to take a picture.

I know a toddler who is OBSESSED with backyard bugs like beetles and dragonflies and butterflies. I designed this image with bug stickers in mind for all the toddlers and kids who love bugs. (But not just toddlers - I'VE always loved creepy crawlies too;) I hope you love these bug designs!
