Canoe Cove School Pei Kids T-Shirts

I discovered this small school house while exploring the backroads of Prince Edward Island. I wanted to create a scene that related to the schools past. Including the road sign completed the story in this image. There are many crossroads located in PEI that have retained their historic name from early settlement times. Canoe Cove is one of them. The Canoe Cove School was built in approximately the year 1850. School consolidation swept the Island in the 1960s, and small schools, including Canoe Cove, were put out to pasture.
