This oil painting comes from a view I captured on one of my many trips walking the coast of Britain. The location is just outside Bosham (near Chichester, Sussex) - a place most known for the tide coming over the road. Its an area of muddy creeks that are popular with sailors, and quiet paths that weave around on the dry parts. Here I spotted a wild rose framing the view, and strove to capture the feel of the area.
