Gum Tree Bird Kids T-Shirts

This beautiful bird was minding his own business in the tree when I caught sight of his beautiful colours, snapped a photo and immortalised him with gouache paints.

A kookaburra in a gum tree...about as iconic as you can get for an Australian wildlife image.

I love seeing trees full of cockatoos and other birds. You really feel like your in nature when there are lots of birds chirping in the trees. Cockatoos are one of my most favorite birds. This would be because I associate these birds with many happy memories spent as a child and my Grandma and Pop’s place who always had cockatoos as pets. The tree and cockatoos are painted with watercolor paint.

I get a lot of beautiful New Holland Honeyeater birds visiting my house. I watched this one over the fence as it sat in a flowering gum tree. I captured it whilst participating in the Great Southern Bioblitz 2023.

The Echidna, a Gum Tree and all the cockatoos was drawn, painted with watercolors and then digitally combined to create one image. My husband and I got married in a national park and every time we walk to the exact spot where we got married from the car park, we come across the cutest Echidna.

This Kookaburra was being tormented by a Willy wagtail, who kept snapping at him from every direction. The Kookaburra refused to move, and after a prolonged attack, it finally gave up, and hence the title, "Peace at last"
