The LV-426 Hotshots are the tough as nails terraforming team that lead the colonization efforts for mega corporation, Weyland-Yutani, in the mid-22nd century. The colony took on the name of Hadley's Hope, after found Curtis Hadley, and housed approximately 158 people before a minor pest control problem lead to the colony's demise.

Hadley's Hope was a human terraforming, research[1] and mining[2] colony that was established on LV-426 in 2157.[3] The settlement was co-financed by the Extrasolar Colonization Administration and the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, and by 2179 maintained a constant population of 158 colonists. It was subject to a major Xenomorph infestation that ultimately all but destroyed the complex.
