As we walked along the towpath of the Shropshire Union canal in Nantwich the sun was catching the trees showing off the gorgeous autumn colours and a lone swan swam slowly towards us probably expecting food.

We awoke to find we had experienced a snowfall so quickly rose, grabbed my camera and rushed to the lake to photograph the scene. We don't get that much snow here. It seems to snow all around us and not on us!

St Mary's Church is located in Monk's Lane, Acton, a village to the west of Nantwich, Cheshire, England. Since 1967 it has been designated a Grade I listed building. A church has been present on this site since before the time of the Domesday Survey
