This pattern in shades of blue, jade & mint green, pink & purple was inspired by a beautiful pair of Art Deco earrings that I saw recently.

This is one of a pair of complementary patchwork pattern works. I had so much fun today playing with color & pattern.

This is a third colour version. The individual elements that make up this pattern were hand drawn with felt tip markers, scanned and then composed into a repeat pattern in Photoshop. It is kind of like completing a puzzle with infinite outcomes... so much fun.

I keep making these patterns, it seems I'm a little obsessed. I tell myself I'm honing my craft. Lol. ; ) This is one of two color versions.

I have always loved patterns of all sorts and fabric design... lately I finally got my act together to figure out how to make my own patterns, I am having a lot of fun. Next step - to get them onto some fabric somewhere... : )

I began this with a black ink pen and a piece of paper. Getting to this end result was a lovely, two day long journey of playing with colours and possibilities. I can't remember which way I went but I like where I ended up... (One of three colorways.) A decorative, Art Nouveau style pattern of flowers, leaves, tendrils and paisley.,
