Barmouth Bridge is a Grade II listed wooden railway viaduct across the River Mawddach in West Wales. It is 764 yards long and was opened in 1867. This is looking out to sea across the single track bridge on a sunny late April afternoon, having been grey and cloudy when I had arrived in Barmouth only a hour beforehand.

Barmouth Railway Line And Bridge Barmouth Bridge, or Barmouth Viaduct is a Grade II* listed single-track wooden railway viaduct across the estuary of the River Mawddach near Barmouth, Wales. It is 699 metres long and carries the Cambrian Line. It is the longest timber viaduct in Wales and one of the oldest in regular use in Britain.
