Biltmore Long Sleeve T-Shirts

Founded in 1897 by George Washington Vanderbilt II, Biltmore Dairy Farms started as an internal operation on his estate, with surplus milk being donated to local hospitals. As productivity increased, the company expanded into home delivery and wholesale supply to area hotels. Biltmore's Jersey cows, known for producing high-quality milk, comprised the original Biltmore Farms herd. Biltmore cattle were regularly awarded blue ribbons at the National Jersey Shows, and several even earned grand champion titles and world records, many of which still stand today.

This image is of some of the wonderful Chihuly glass that was on display at the Biltmore Estate, just outside Asheville, North Carolina. As you walked around the gardens, there were dozens of these exquisite glass creations, just begging to photgraphed. I hope you like this image.

Completed in 1895, George Vanderbilt’s 250-room chateau is as impressive today as it was more than a century ago. Biltmore House is truly a wonder of architecture and hospitality. Guests are invited to enjoy a self-guided tour of the house, as well as the beautiful gardens and grounds surrounding it, which were designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted.

I visited the Biltmore Estate just outside Asheville, North Carolina a few years ago, where on display, throughout the gardens and some in the house, was an extensive collection of Chihuly Glass. This image focuses on lovely, reed-like glass sculptures that sat in a pond near the house. The translucent light passing through the mauve sculptures gave them a radiance that was quite lovely.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A TRIP TO BILTMORE ESTATE

This is an image of some lily pads floating in a pond on the Biltmore Estate, near Asheville in North Carolina. I loved the arrangement of the lily pads but found the underwater detail distracting. To counter this, I've taken some artistic licence by isolating that part of the image and darkening it to a point where it is essentially black. This has given the lily pads and flower the surreal quality of floating, as if in space.

The image contains a message written in a decorative font. The text reads: "All I want for Christmas is a trip to Biltmore Estate." It includes elements of typography and calligraphy in its design.
