2015 we went to Antigua in December. We keep going back there.. iphone 6.

In Antigua it can rain for a few minutes and then the beautiful blues of the ocean return. It is an amazing performance of nature. The rainbows are included! December 2016, iPhone 6.

There is a small rustic resort on the island of Antigua called Cocobay. We keep going back there for its beauty and quiet peace. Sitting on the beach, looking into the ever changing blues of the ocean, seeing sailboats go by.. it doesn't get much better. December 2015. Iphone 5. .. oh, the white little specs... butterflies, lots of them.. flying by for hours..

In between sunshine, rain and rainbows... this beautiful scene unfolded in front of us.. while on the beach. The blues of the water change almost every minute. It is nature's TV at its best. December 2016, iphone 6.

Antigua, Cocobay Resort. This cat must be one of the luckiest cats in the world. To live in a wonderful resort with a view like this every day while sitting at the edge of the infinity pool. December 2015. iphone 5

We have been going back to Cocobay Resort in Antigua for years. We just love it there. It is little, rustic, no TV in rooms, quiet except for frogs at night and has delicious food. People there are friendly and one can really just forget about daily routine, traffic, stress and whatever won't leave your mind. But it is a bit paradox to sit on the beach, with amazing blue waters in front and sailboats, while the local staff tries to make your surroundings even nicer. December 2016, iphone 6.

Wooden Stairs

There are many green lizards, and brown ones too, on this island. They pause just long enough for a photo and then they hide again in the bushes. I often take an apple or pear from breakfast and put in on the railing of our balcony, overlooking stunning blue seas... and they all show up.. the lizards, the birds with yellow breasts and the brown ones too. It is a visual feast for me and a tasty one for them.
