The Torchwood Institute, or simply Torchwood, is a fictional secret organisation from the British science fiction television series Doctor Who and its spin-off series Torchwood. It was established in 1879 by Queen Victoria after the events of "Tooth and Claw". Its prime directive is to defend Earth against supernatural and extraterrestrial threats. It is later revealed in "Army of Ghosts" that the Torchwood Institute has begun to use their findings to restore the British Empire to its former glory. To those ends, the organisation started to acquire and reverse engineer alien technology. Within Torchwood an unofficial slogan evolved: "If it's alien, it's ours". The Daleks are a fictional extraterrestrial race of mutants principally portrayed in the British science fiction television program Doctor Who. The Daleks were conceived by science-fiction writer Terry Nation and first appeared in the 1963 Doctor Who serial The Daleks, in the shells designed by Raymond Cusick. Drawing inspirations from the real-life example of the Nazis, Nation portrayed the Daleks as violent, merciless and pitiless cyborg aliens, who demand total conformity to their will, bent on the conquest of the universe and the extermination of what they see as inferior races.

Dr. Shrinker was a segment during the first season of the ABC network's The Krofft Supershow in 1976. Dr. Shrinker (Jay Robinson) is a mad scientist who creates a shrink ray that can miniaturise anything. Three young adults named Brad Fulton (Ted Eccles), B.J. Masterson (Susan Lawrence) and her brother Gordie Masterson (Jeff MacKay), crash land their plane on an island. As they make their way to the only house on the island, they meet Dr. Shrinker and his assistant, Hugo (Billy Barty). Dr. Shrinker, in an effort to prove that his shrinking ray works, shrinks the three people down to six inches tall.

Fun Fact: I believe this is my first Mod Pop Art featuring an automobile; do what you will with that information. This was a fun piece to create, and my biggest challenge was restraining myself from putting out 17 color variants! Every color combination just looked so sweet, but I had to narrow it down, so I chose the best two. For this piece, and the whole collection, I wanted to make something radiating with classic '80s saturated color vibrance, without looking dated ... something cool enough for any BTTF fan to want to wear. I hope you enjoy it!

LINDA (London Investigation 'N'Detective Agency) was a secret organization founded in early 2007, and broken up in the spring of that same year, due to all but one of its members being absorbed by an alien form. It was a society composed of five people: Elton Pope, Ursula Blake, Colin Skinner, Bridget Sinclair and Bliss. Although it was a group originally created and dedicated to finding out about the mysterious "Doctor", the members of the group soon bonded and it became as much a social club as a Doctor-investigating club, much to the annoyance of their future "leader", the mysterious Victor Kennedy.

Deffry Vale High School was a high school in London, England. It was infiltrated by the Krillitanes, who fed the children who attended the school with chips cooked in Krillitane oil, which gave the children's intelligence a significant boost. The Krillitanes hoped to use the super-intelligent children to crack the Skasis Paradigm, which would give the Krillitanes control over the very fabric of reality. Mysterious lights in the sky, as well as a spate of mysterious illnesses and incredibly high results brought the school to the attention of Sarah Jane Smith and Mickey Smith separately.
