The thing about this entrance is that it is only open at certain times and you may find that even during those certain hours, it may be closed. This is Paris after all and break time can happen at anytime. Happy to report it was open at night after all the walking that I did that day. Wherever you turn your head at the Louvre, inside or outside, there is always something to intrigue the senses. Whether it is the paintings, the statues, the carvings, the reliefs, the artifacts, the architecture, the ceilings, the windows, the doors, the foyers, the courtyards, you name it. If you are a photographer and enjoy a bit of art and history and architecture, this is the place to be. After spending 2 days and 3 nights at the Louvre, unfortunately the time has come to visit other places in Paris.
