Protect nature

The Dog Rose (Rosa canina) is a common sight among hedgerows and woodland. The flowers are usually pink but this example is a lovely pure white and is pictured under a clear blue sky together with some rose hips from previous flowerings.

Rose hip or rose haw are in abundance these days in England. I gather them to make herbal teas and jam (not little work), but they also look very decorative on the branches or together with flowers in little bouquets.
