Lamp posts of Shrewsbury. Most likely most of you including me don't actually notice lamp posts on our streets. But what would Shrewsbury​ be without these ones?!. Somebody put their hearts into designing them.

Princess Street is a small street in Shrewsbury which leads you to the heart of this medieval town. This scene was painted on the site on 4 of May 2019.

Plein air painting of Shrewsbury Square. I had to finish the painting at home as it was cold. I got lovely comments on it which I want to share with you "My first Saturday job was in that black and white building. I sold Helena Rubinstein makeup and smelled gorgeous. I was 15. Used to rush home ( in Copthorne) for lunch and back in three inch heels and a pencil skirt, thought I was no end of a dog!"

This is a plein-air watercolour painting of Claremont Hill in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Englad. I have discovered this beautiful street on 14 April 2018. It was first sunny and warm day after a long cold winter to paint outside. So many lovely encounters with passers-by which provided needed support and energy.

Old Market Hall, Shrewsbury

I had a very insightful and fascinating tour of Shrewsbury led by Stan Sedman. Highly recommend it to any one interested in history of Shrewsbury. The weather was gorgeous and I decided to paint Owen's Mansion - a splendid timber frame building in the centre of Shrewsbury. The market square was heaving with people attracted by buzz of Shrewsbury International Cartoon festival. This time round I spent more time talking rather than painting and even though I was not able to finish the painting it was so lovely to meet so many interesting people and even to make new friends. Rowley's House, Shrewsbury

It was Good Friday 30th March 2018 and as I was standing next to St Alkumunds church I had rather long but very nice conversations with Christians attending Easter service. The morning was not warm and I was kept offered a cup of coffee which was very kind and very much appreciated. Those timber framed buildings are now integral part of Shrewsbury centre and it is difficult to comprehend that back in 1960s the town authorities wanted to demolish them. Thanks to residents of Shrewsbury and Shrewsbury Civic Society those gorgeous buildings are still with us.

St Alkmund's Square, Shrewsbury, Shropshire. It situated in centre of Shrewsbury. I did not managed to finish the painting on the site as I was invited to visit St Julian's church which is nearby. During transportation of my easel I lost my rigger brush. Luckily I found it the next day laying on one of grave stones next to St Alkmunds Chruch.

This painting was done on the street of Shrewsbury on 1st of June 2019. I planned to spend 2 hours but so many people wanted to talk to me so my session went on and on.

Shrewsbury is one of a number of towns located on the River Severn which flows from the mountains of North Wales to its Estuary flowing into the Bristol Channel. The River is the longest in Britain and has the most voluminous flow of water by far in all of England and Wales. It regularly floods in the cities and towns on it's route.

It is sunny and warm ... Unbelievable ... St Alkmunds square. Lovely settings. Great conversations ... I was told today about marvelous stained glass of St Alkmunds Church and how a German POW who was kept in Shropshire POW camp was taken by its beauty.
