Created as an abstract fractal in Fractal Science Kit based on equation Spider with complex inversion transforms Hacoversh, Sinc, Ztrans4 and Ztrans15 as a Julia image, isolated on just the first dwell. Best if viewed larger. The classic aspiration of young performers used to be to "have their name up in lights". Perhaps now it is more to have their youtube "go viral" or something, but hopefully you get the idea. I wasn't quite brave enough to make this totally black and white - hope the blue center makes the silver shades a little more effective. While the Mandelbrot sets and the curved silver orbit traps naturally suggested the name for this image, that name in turn reminded me of Jay Silverheels, the Native American actor who portrayed Tonto in the TV classic The Lone Ranger. Let us return now to those thrilling days of yesteryear to see Jay in action...selling Chevy Blazers?!?? ...

Rendered as a .png file, then blended with duplicate layers and a black background in GIMP v2.6, then saved in .jpg format, finally scaled up in UF. Sixth in a series of images generated with the instructions in this tutorial called Escher Stained Glass by dA's SaTaNiA (Damien), using plugin Diamond in the final transform and escher_beta=0.25 in Tx2.
