Have you ever wondered why history is so important? Think of History as a bad ex. You can't ignore or deny them, because they shaped a part of you. You can't erase or change them, because the truth is the events happened whether you want to remember or not. Why do we have to learn about the past, when we live in the present? Well, the answer is simple. George Santaya said, “those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” And trust me, you don't want to repeat some of the mistakes that people have made in the past. History can teach us valuable lessons, and ignoring history can lead to world altering disastrous consequences. So, the next time you think that history is boring, remember history is also essential.

Overboard is a 1987 American romantic comedy film directed by Garry Marshall, written by Leslie Dixon, starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, and produced by Roddy McDowall, who also co-stars. The film's soundtrack was composed by Alan Silvestri. Although it opened to mixed reviews and was a box office disappointment, Overboard has become a cult film and has been remade twice. In 1992, it was adapted in the Indian film Ek Ladka Ek Ladki, in 2006, it was adapted into the South Korean television series Couple or Trouble and in 2018 it was remade with Anna Faris and Eugenio Derbez. The plot of the 1997 Malayalam film Mayaponman, is loosely based on this film.
