Bosham (pronounced Bozzam) is a picturesque coastal village situated on an inlet of Chichester Harbour, in the southern county of West Sussex, England. It's an idyllic spot, with the 10th century Holy Trinity Church, never far from view. Motorists must beware however, because at high tide the sea comes right into the old village, flooding the lower road around the harbour and with it several car parking spaces. The interior of Holy Trinity Church at Bosham, West Sussex, looking along the length of the nave to the chancel. The church sits on the edge of the village near the quay, overlooking the water. Its Norman past can be seen in the round chancel arch but the building has its origins earlier than this being founded in c.850. This was replaced in the 10th century by Holy Trinity church and features in the Bayeaux Tapestry where Harold Godwinson and his followers are depicted riding to the building.
