Zushakon, The Dark Silent One, appears as a swirling, black vortex, revered by the Mutsune Native Americans as a dire death god. He is also worshipped by the mysterious servitors known as the Hidden Ones. It is a descendent of Ubbo-Sathla. The name is also given as Zul-Che-Quon (by West Coast Indian tribes) and Zushakon (in Mu and Xinian).

Dagon is a deity from Mesopotamian mythology who was incorporated into H. P. Lovecraft's fiction in the short story "Dagon", eventually becoming a prominent element of the Cthulhu Mythos, where he is often referred to as Father Dagon. In the stories of Lovecraft and others, he presides over the Deep Ones, a hidden amphibious humanoid race that resides in the Earth's oceans, and is worshipped by the Esoteric Order of Dagon, a secret cult based in Innsmouth. He is the consort of Mother Hydra.

Cthulhu is a fictional cosmic entity created by writer H. P. Lovecraft. It was first introduced in his short story "The Call of Cthulhu", published by the American pulp magazine Weird Tales in 1928. Considered a Great Old One within the pantheon of Lovecraftian cosmic entities, this creature has since been featured in numerous popular culture references. Lovecraft depicts it as a gigantic entity worshipped by cultists, in the shape of a green octopus, dragon, and a caricature of human form. The Lovecraft-inspired universe, the Cthulhu Mythos, where it exists with its fellow entities, is named after it.

It was a figure no larger than a young child, but sere and shriveled as some millennial mummy. Its hairless head, its unfeatured face, borne on a neck of skeleton thinness, were lined with a thousand reticulated wrinkles. The body was like that of some monstrous, withered abortion that had never drawn breath. The pipy arms, ending in bony claws, were outthrust as if ankylosed in a posture of an eternal dreadful groping.

Nyogtha is an amorphous mass composed of an unidentifiable sticky black substance. It is capable of extruding tentacles from this mass to manipulate the environment around it. According to the cursed book the Necronomicon, the only way that it can be cast back to its own dimension once summoned is through the use of a ritual combining an ankh, the Tikkoun elixir and the Vach-Viraj incantation. Nyogtha is served by a large pack of ghouls which live in the catacombs beneath the city of Arkham.
