The DCL Blog's take on Gorda Cay, the other name for the popular Bahamian private island used by Disney Cruise Line and know as Disney's Castaway Cay.

WALKER'S CAY DARK

The first in my DCL series (that I forgot and uploaded last)! The background art is based on the beautiful atrium carpet.

This is a story about Bob. What if, Bob decided to go on a vacation from his problems to Gorda Cay, an island in The Bahamas. While on vacation, he wanted to experience the island as a local, but didn't want to be hassled. So, he found this shirt.

The last in the Disney Cruise Line ship series- thank you for tagging along. Disney Cruises are an amazing experience!

There are a couple aircraft on Castaway Cay that are part of the theming of the island and fit in as it has a runway as well as a berth for Cruise Ships though it is now used as a bike path and not fo its notorious past employment.

Next in the series based after Disney Cruise Line's second ship- The Wonder! The background is based on the carpet design in that ship's main atrium. Stay tuned for the rest of the fleet!

Sandy Cay, a tiny little island in the British Virgin Islands, can only be visited by day on a boat. Lawrence Rockerfeller donated this little paradise to be kept forever as a national park. Anchor offshore, and come in by dinghy to this delightful little island.

May years ago before hurricane Dorian, I stayed at Bluff House one Christmas, I made good friends that Christmas and one commissioned me to paint Bluff House. Many years later the painting was sold to Bluff House and now hangs in the New Bluff House.
