I’ve often seen Newark sugar factory at night and thought that it would make a good subject for a photograph. Newark sugar factory began operating in 1921. The factory became part of the former British Sugar Corporation in 1936. The factory supplies 250,000 tonnes of sugar to food and drink manufacturers in the UK and across Europe.
