Ο - OMICRON Omicron, according to the Greek Language Code symbolizes an area (space) of all sizes. This piece came up in the moment when I got “lost” with the thoughts about our vast universe, but at the same time, so tiny for everything. And in it, you all have different sizes of your own space..

Ι - IOTA Iota brings me the imagination of a ray, or the beam which is small, but always flickering with different shapes, different forces...

I took two similar found object pieces and used photoshop to make them into a pattern. These are some sort of beads and studs found in an old tin at the tip. The background is transparent so that any colour t shirt will show through.

Φ - PHI • What I love about Greek language is.. it seems that every letter has its own code behind. Phi (φ) is like a combination of Ο and Ι (the space and the ray of light). This brings me to the imagination of constant light blinking in the darkness, or the window of soul.

I had a Cannondale bike like this, it had fancy henna style graphics and I like the idea that this pattern blended with the sun dappled tarmac in the background. I have painted it in beautiful lustrous oil colours to enhance the bold geometric patterns and fine detail. I am a keen cyclist, who lovingly restores bicycles and then records them for posterity by producing fine canvas's that are totally unique.

During my lunch break I try and head out into the fresh air and take some photos of found patterns that are often overlooked. I thought this was a great example of perspective and what artist doesn't love playing with this element.
