The beautiful towers and domes that adorn the rooftops of the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, East Sussex ( UK ).

The French Institute, created in 1795, brought together five of France’s academies of arts and sciences. The most famous of these is the Académie Française (French Academy), founded in 1635 by Cardinal Richelieu. Its 40 members, known as the Immortels (Immortals), have the Herculean (some say impossible) task of safeguarding the purity of the French language. I hiked the Fire Wave at Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada, USA near Las Vegas. Features a hiker at the amazing sandstone rock formation called the Fire Wave.

His design included three domes to open to the public in this order: The “show” dome featuring seasonal plants and special exhibitions in 1965; The tropical dome in 1966; and The arid (or desert) dome in 1967. To this day, many consider the three domed structures to be the gem of Milwaukee’s public parks system. First Lady, Claudia Alta aka “Lady Bird” Johnson dedicated the seasonal dome in September of 1965. Night view of Fira village, the "capital" of Santorini island, hanging over the caldera. Below you can see the old port of the island, Gyalos, where the boats leave the visitors from the cruise ships. You can also see the path that goes from the old port to Fira. Although there is a teleferik (cable car) that can bring the visitors from the port to Fira, many prefer to go up the traditional way through the old path riding donkeys or mules. On the cliffs of Santorini, past the bells of Fira, the dome of this holy place rises from the foothills. For it's not about the man or the religion, but the consciousness it brings to humanity, to die on the cross of the four dimensions of time and space, and in-gather the exiles into the center-most point of the now moment. Capitol Reef National Park is in Utah's south-central desert. It surrounds a long wrinkle in the earth known as the Waterpocket Fold, with layers of golden sandstone, canyons and striking rock formations. Among the park's sights are the Chimney Rock pillar, the Hickman Bridge arch, and Capitol Reef, known for its white sandstone domes. In the north are the towering monoliths of Cathedral Valley.

Here's a view of the Blue Mosque ("Sultanahmet Camii") from the side of Hagia Sophia. When it was constructed, the 6 minarets were considered rather "provocative", because there was an unwritten "law" saying that the only mosques that could have 6 minarets were the ones, in Mecca the sacred city of the Muslims .(The Sultan Ahmed Mosque is one of the two mosques in Turkey that has six minarets, the other is in Adana. When the number of minarets was revealed, the Sultan was criticized for presumption, since this was, at the time, the same number as at the mosque of the Ka'aba in Mecca.
